A workshop on ‘Photo Essays and Story Telling’ was organized by Photography club of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala. Prof. Nirmal Singh inaugurated the workshop and congratulated the staff and the students for organizing this function. Dr. Shukhdev Singh welcomed the Chief Guest and talk about photography club of the college. Mr. Jatinder Kamboj, Director of IRIC Photography Academy was the expert trainer. He illustrated the concept of photo essays and story with help of various historical photography stories. He also discussed about various myths regarding photography. He demonstrated to the participants how they can create stories and frame essays through Photography. He also elaborated about the classification of stories based on photography themes. He motivated students to work on stories of various social issues like child labour, begging, corruption etc. At the end of his training session, he discussed about technicalities and features of DSLR camera.
Dr. Ajit Kumar, Dr. Ganesh Sethi and Dr. Harmohan Sharma congratulated the participants for being a part of this learning workshop.
